A fictional magazine inspired by The New Yorker, which aims to represent
São Paulo through the hands of local illustrators.
In this issue, I wanted to feature an iconic building in the center of São Paulo, which faces the Minhocão (a 3.5 kilometre/2.2 mile elevated highway, which becomes a non-traffic linear park on weekends). The plants that overflow from the building are not only a reference to the need for more greenery in São Paulo, but it is also my desire to create a city that is very much linked to magical realism.
